Thanks to the LAB Services solution a sophisticated alternative is offered, utilizing advanced analyzing techniques and machine learning algorithms to determine the gender of chick embryos while they are still in the egg. Application purpose

Egg samples, incubated for 9 days, are first prepared on plates and conveyed to the PlateButler system. Upon arrival, our detection system identifies each plate's arrival, signaling the robot to transport the plates to the Liquid Handler. Here, the samples undergo meticulous preparation for Mass Spectrometry analysis, targeting a distinctive biomarker capable of early-stage gender differentiation in chick development. Following preparation, the plates are transferred to the Mass Spectrometer for comprehensive analysis of the biomarker concentration within seconds. Female eggs identified through this process are subsequently returned to the incubator.
